For over 125 years, The Fain Family of Businesses has been entrusted as guardian to some of the most prosperous working land in Northern Arizona. Our rich history of cattle ranching, sheep herding and farming has been an underlying tradition passed down from one generation to the next in viewing this land as a precious and nonrenewable resource; an asset not to be sold or squandered for short-term gain, but rather as a long-term investment to be held and utilized in a way that benefits both our company and those who choose to live, work and grow on the land with us.
The pursuit of this tradition is accomplished through basic business and balanced land use planning. From one perspective, it is the larger scale, master planned communities, downtown commercial and mixed-use retail and fostering the development of job base within our community. Each and every project undertaken is done so with the commitment to the highest standards of quality enriched in our history. On a simpler note we are the rancher, the planner, landlord, investor, community partner, employer and neighbor.
Our primary mission is to actively manage the land so as to continually enhance its value as a long-term investment for our Companies, and to enhance the value of the land for those who have chosen to live and work here. We believe that the thoughtful, deliberate and prudent management of the Company's properties is a sound investment strategy, both in financial terms and in terms of maintaining the quality of life of the region in which our land is located.
Tradition, values and awareness are what guide us through this process. We acknowledge that what we do today will potentially impact the lives of our neighbors and will certainly leave a legacy visible for the next 125 years. The challenge then, is in the decisions we make today and their potential impact on our community tomorrow. We strive to make sound decisions for the use of this land, facilitated through the community so that the end result is a decision and direction that reflects the community's desires as well as those of our Companies. |
